“I am so honored and so excited to be nominated for a Golden Globe Award,” enthused Dolly Parton. “I am thankful for all of my fans and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and am pleased that the song ‘Girl In The Movies’ is being recognized. Linda Perry and I loved writing it together. We are so happy that everyone has accepted our song so well.”

Then I was like ‘Yay Dolly!’” Perry continued, “I love her so much, and of course I’m happy for myself, but I am SO HAPPY for Dolly.
