Proceeds of the Single to Benefit PEDIGREE Foundation Check Out the New Release HERE Sister duo Presley & Taylor first recorded their touching new single “Choose Me” a couple of years ago and kept it in their back pocket for just the right time. After seeing a recent news story about an organization transferring 19 dogs and cats from a Baton Rouge shelter in the path of Hurricane Ida, they knew the time was now. Presley and Taylor asked their record label, White Mustang Records, to adjust their release schedule to accommodate the release of “Choose Me” in time for October’s Dog Adoption Month. “We’ve been hanging on to ‘Choose Me,’ because we just loved the song,” said Presley & Taylor jointly. “Pet adoption is very close to our hearts and seeing the news story really struck a chord with us. We hope this song spurs people to adopt a pet from a local shelter and give a dog or cat the love it deserves.” The single cover art (see below) features Presley & Taylor’s own rescue dog Rocky. The cuddly King Charles mix was first rescued by their grandmother in Connecticut. After her passing, the girls brought Rocky to live with them in Nashville. Coinciding with the single release, Presley & Taylor are also thrilled to announce that they have decided to support PEDIGREE Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Franklin, TN, with proceeds from the streaming and downloads of “Choose Me" benefiting the organization. Proceeds from the single will support PEDIGREE Foundation’s annual grant program, which supports rescues and shelters across the country. Presley & Taylor will serve as PEDIGREE Foundation ambassadors encouraging their fans to adopt, volunteer or donate to help end pet homelessness. The need to help rescues and shelters across the country has increased due to the pandemic and recent emergency situations, such as Hurricane Ida and the fires in California and surrounding states that have displaced many animals in need of a loving home. PEDIGREE Foundation works tirelessly to end pet homelessness and help dogs get the loving homes they deserve. “PEDIGREE Foundation does a great job building awareness and identifying specific needs in times of disaster to make sure that resources go where they’re needed most,” said Presley & Taylor. “This relationship aligns perfectly with the goals we have for this song and helping spread awareness for pet adoption, and we are so proud to support PEDIGREE Foundation as ambassadors." Written by Tim Johnson and Joseph Williams Pupora, “Choose Me” is available at all streaming platforms via OneRPM now, coinciding with the start of Dog Adoption Month, and will be made available to radio via PlayMPE on October 4. The song can be streamed and downloaded HERE. A music video directed by The Edde Brothers is in the works. The duo has recorded music, interviews and more at the Rebel Ranch Sound Stage, and the first official release, a beautiful a cappella rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner,” received over a half million views over July 4th weekend. Their “22 Red Flags” single followed the career-establishing “Everybody Sees It” and “Don’t Even Know Your Mama” singles, which have garnered millions of combined streams. The “Everybody Sees It” music video premiered on CMT Music and CMT.com and hit the #1 spot on the fan-voted CMT Music 12-Pack Countdown.
