The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum shared today that it has canceled all in-person programming through Friday, July 31. It will continue songwriter sessions via Instagram Live (see below for upcoming artists). This includes performances, film screenings, interviews, and other programs originally scheduled in the Museum’s Ford Theater, as well as family programs and activities in the Taylor Swift Education Center. The Museum has also canceled its songwriting camps and internship program for this summer. While these programs are on hiatus, music fans can engage with the Museum on its website and social media channels. The following is a listing of the Museum’s online offerings: • Songwriter Sessions, in which viewers hear from and interact with some of country music’s best songwriters, every Tuesday at 8:00 PM CT on Instagram Live • Family-friendly programming, including art projects, instrument workshops, and songwriting instruction, each Wednesday at 3:30 PM CT via FieldTripZoom • Videos of past performances and interviews from the Museum’s archives, available on the Museum’s website • Episodes of the Museum’s podcast, Voices in the Hall, which presents conversations with country music’s most fascinating and influential figures "While the Museum's doors are closed temporarily, our mission endures." #CountryMusic During Songwriter Sessions at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, fans get a chance to meet the minds behind some of country music's biggest hits as respected songwriters share the stories behind their work in an intimate performance setting, with audience Q&A. The Museum is hosting its weekly Songwriter Sessions on Instagram Live, Tuesdays starting at 8:00 PM Central on the Museum's Instagram, @OfficialCMHOF. Like onsite Songwriter Sessions, these weekly, live social media events will connect fans with songwriters, allowing participants to ask questions and songwriters to share answers, inspiration, and stories. To join in, follow on Instagram at @OfficialCMHOF. There are two ways to engage with live broadcasts.
If you can't tune in live, livestreams will be available for twenty-four hours after the initial broadcast.
