The Band Behind the Hit "All For You" Are All For Cats

You could call them earth angels. All bets were off for the band Sister Hazel as they put everything on the line for a band of stray cats (the creature variety; not the music-making human kind). After making an over 800-mile journey, the platinum-sellers discovered and rescued six adorable kittens trapped in their tour bus. No word if any of the kitties had hazel eyes (or even if they were sisters) but they are all resting comfortably. Purrhaps the group should re-make their hit video into an all-kitten version? Or maybe that's just nuts. -TCC

Lead singer and guitarist for the band, Ken Block, described it as, "the CRAZIEST thing ever!"

He recalled, "One of our crew guys came into the venue last Friday afternoon and told Kurt Pfister, our production manager, he heard a weird noise coming from somewhere in the bus that sounded like cats. Kurt told him we have been having problems with the air compressor and that’s probably what it was. He went out, heard something, shut everything down on the bus, and shockingly heard meowing. The cries were tracked down to the front battery compartment of the bus where it was opened to find SIX kittens. Kurt then called the bus owner to get some advice about the easiest way to get to three of them that we couldn’t reach. The owner then told him that the mother cat lives in an old abandoned bus on the tour bus company's parking lot in Nashville, TN and she had six kittens a couple of weeks ago. So she must have moved them into our bus. Luckily, one of the employees of the venue in Ocala, FL runs an animal rescue, so she took them to get fed and checked out!! They seemed okay, but I can’t imagine how loud and windy it was when the bus was on the road!"

No, it may not contain a long-anticipated Lawrence cover of "The King is Gone" (listeners of Lawrence's nationally-syndicated radio show Honky-Tonkin' with Tracy Lawrence might understand that observation's significance) but still, time marches on - and Tracy's new album Made in America (boasting some of Nashville's best songwriting constructors) is well-assembled to stand the test of it. Country music legend Tracy Lawrence releases his first original studio album in six years with Made In America, available on all streaming and download services. The country star has been a driving force in the music industry for over 25 years and is a mainstay with traditional and contemporary country fans alike with Made In America certainly keeping pace.

Made In America pays homage to the tried and true examples of what make the hard-working men and women of America stand tall and proud. The album harkens back to the authentic sound of country music with Lawrence’s mixture of rock and blues, and by penning 8 of the 12 tracks himself, this album is one of his most relatable to date.

Phil Vassar Gets 'Hitsterical' as He Hits the Road and Readies New EP for 2020

Singer-songwriter Phil Vassar is bringing his 20 years of hits to venues across the country with an intimate, acoustic show in 14 cities from coast to coast (full list below). Brett Sheroky will be supporting Vassar on select shows throughout the tour. The Stripped Down tour coincides with an EP launch by the same name, and features new material, exciting artists collaborations, and "Postmarked Birmingham" (written by Vassar with Don Sampson & originally recorded by BlackHawk). Tickets go on sale August 16 at PhilVassar.com and the EP will be available January 2020.

"We're peeling back the music to the core with just a piano and guitar, so we can give fans an intimate evening of conversation and music. It's how these songs were written and I think it will be a fun, unique experience," Vassar shared.

2019 marks 20 years since the release of Vassar's debut single "Carlene". Vassar recently performed "Carlene" along with a set list of fan-favorites on "Fox & Friends All-American Summer Concert Series." Vassar brought his Hitsteria tour through New York and is continuing to play dates across the country (See tour dates below by clicking "read more").
